Elroy, a depressive cop with burned facial skin, is doing an investigation on a Scottish island. A teenage girl has disappeared, and her mother testifies, seemingly unaffected. The teenager reappears, in fact it is the mother who plays at being her daughter.

The observatories study a remote past, suspended in an indeterminate time, barely paying attention to their surroundings. Focused on the Pic du Midi, in the Pyrenees, this film shot in 16mm reflects on the space-time relationship which is established between architecture, science and landscape.
