The man in the need to explain and understand the world around them, gives the animal, especially in the symbolic level, the functions performed, at first only for himself.

The Atlantic Ocean, the Amazon River, the Ucayali River, the Abujao River. A container ship, a barge, a canoe. A trip looking for the trace left by European migrants on their way through the Amazon.

A film that revolves around landscape, succession, overlapping, repetition, simultaneity, love of the desert, the link between one colour in movement and the next and with the one which is superimposed on it. The search for vertiginous evocation to infinity. The invisible forces that unite components that would otherwise disperse.

A traditional, picturesque event that invites us to experience the intensity of a close combat between man and animal.

Quiasma is a video-dance piece that captures the research and choreographic creation process of Javier Martín for his work La exforma, performed for the first time in September 2016 in the Teatro Colón of A Coruña, Spain.

In the Moroccan desert night dilutes forms and silence slides through sand. Dawn starts then to draw silhouettes of dunes while motionless figures punctuate landscape. From night´s abstraction, light returns its dimension to space and their volume to bodies. Stillness concentrates gaze and duration densify it. The adhan -muslim call to pray- sounds and immobility, that was condensing, begins to irradiate. And now the bodies are those which dissolves into the desert.
