In Curtocircuíto we want to pay homage to the recently deceased American actor, with the screening of Harry Dean Stanton: Partly Fiction on Sunday, October 1st at 5 p.m.
British filmmaker will host Curtocircuito's opening day on Saturday, September the 30th.

Since its beginnings in year 2000 Ertz has hosted outstanding members of the international scene of experimental music and sound art, acting as a creative, productive and ever-changing platform, for the creation of contemporary art projects.
Around Sound is a program of interdisciplinary encounters to discuss the concept of sound as a form of expression and way of knowledge. The Obra Social Abanca building, located in Cervantes Square will host most of the events, some of which will be free of charge, establishing itself as a new venue for the festival.
On the coming 24th and 31st of August at 10.00 pm, summer films return to Santiago de Compostela historic center thanks to Curtocircuito – International Film Festival with a new edition of our renowned Noites Curtas, two free outdoor sessions.
Curtocircuíto will host its fourteenth edition from 1 to 8 of October, showing two retrospectives of filmmakers F. J. Ossang and Teddy Williams. Also, an internationally renowned filmmaker who will visit the festival will soon be announced.
Two internationally renowned filmmakers will visit Curtocircuíto after visiting the likes of Cannes, Venice or Berlinale. Two special guests such as American filmmaker Abel Ferrara and Ucranian documentary maker Sergei Loznitsa will travel to Santiago de Compostela during the next edition of Curtocircuíto.
Curtocircuíto – International Film Festival of Santiago de Compostela keeps strengthening links with Portugal, this time collaborating with Porto/Post/Doc, selecting a 18-film-program by, for or about teenagers for the Teenage section, a wink to Curtocircuíto’s Teenage riot.
